My name is Bethanie, and like many of us these days, I wear many hats. The name kitchentangents is rooted in my inability to narrow my interests. So much of our daily energy is spent struggling to meet basic needs-food, water, and shelter. But I think most would agree that the act of creating is just as essential to our well-being. Whether it is creating a comforting space, raising children that you hope will share your values, or making a special meal for someone, it satisfies something deep inside us.
My heart is with my family, and my passion is exploring the world through the lens of art and science. Cooking and writing are my bread and water. My mom gave me my first cookbook for Christmas when I was 8 years old, and I’ve been making a mess of the kitchen ever since. I am here to share my discoveries, and seek out a creative community. ¡Bienvenidos! Welcome!
My collection of hats:
